La ricerca di Fabrizio Ruggiero è centrata sulla struttura e sul processo della pittura ad affresco come linguaggio, dove sabbia, calce e pigmenti naturali sono gli elementi adoperati per porre domande sull’essenza del colore e sul significato dell’atto stesso di dipingere nel mondo contemporaneo.

Unity and interdependence of all phenomena and the intrinsically dynamic nature of the Universe are fundamental themes, in Fabrizio Ruggiero paintings.

Structure and process of fresco and Buon-fresco way of painting are basic tools in Fabrizio Ruggiero’s paintings, where sand, lime plaster and mineral pigments are the elements for questioning the essence of colors and the meaning of the very act of painting in contemporary world.
