The good wish of grandchildren and parents to present a portrait to their grandmother on her birthday was the occasion for this painting.

I was told that the lady was very found of classic Italian art and visited several times Tuscany and Italy so they thought that she would appreciate her portrait by a contemporary Italian painter.

They sent four photographs by e-mail in large format and I was asked to make a proposal according to my taste.
